Volunteers – All of the staff and trustees are volunteers and without their support the Valiant wouldn’t be running. We’d love to have more people to help show visitors around, act as receptionists or help with the garden. 

Although our trustees and volunteers have many skills we really need someone with good IT knowledge, especially to look at the way we use technology to enhance the experience for our visitors. We also need help with keeping our filing system/record keeping up-to-date. We would welcome more volunteers to assist with the day-to-day running of the museum, for which training will be given.If you’re able to spare a few hours each week, we would be extremely grateful. There are some exciting developments at the Valiant Soldier. Our garden now has fruit trees, and we are currently creating a herb garden and planting wild flowers as well.  We hope the development will increase biodiversity.  If you are interested in helping us with this project or heritage gardening please contact us to join our team of  volunteers.
